Anti ragging cell is primarily responsible for preventing and controlling any instances of ragging or bullying within an educational institution. It sets guidelines and policies to curb such activities.
Awareness Campaigns: It organizes awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to educate students about the negative impacts of ragging and encourages a culture of respect and mutual understanding.
Complaints and Reporting Mechanism: The cell establishes a confidential reporting system where students can report incidents of ragging without fear of reprisal, ensuring timely intervention and resolution.
Investigation and Action: Upon receiving complaints, the ragging cell conducts thorough investigations into reported incidents, gathers evidence, and takes appropriate disciplinary action against the perpetrators.
Support and Counseling: It provides support and counseling to both victims and perpetrators, aiming to rehabilitate the individuals involved and create a conducive environment for all students.
