Mantrana Society, affiliated with Dayanand Anglo Vedic (Post Graduate) College in Dehradun, stands as a beacon of intellectual and cultural enrichment for its students. The college itself, encompassing diverse faculties such as Arts, Science, Commerce, B.Ed., and Law, is a distinguished institution in Northern India. Embodying the principles of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, the college aims to instill a sense of understanding, commitment, and societal contribution in its students.

Formed on August 9th, 2019, Mantrana Society, with its core meaning "discussion," has flourished into a reputable platform for students over its four successful years. Functioning as the Mantrana Debating Society, its primary goal is to cultivate an environment where individuals engage in thoughtful and respectful discussions across a wide spectrum of topics. The society has become a dynamic hub for ambitious students, fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and a respectful exchange of ideas through structured debates and various competitions.

Beyond mere competition, Mantrana Society seeks to facilitate personal growth, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and actively participate in extracurricular activities. The society has introduced four specialized clubs – Akshar, Dramatics Club, Science and Innovation Club, and Debating Club – each contributing to the holistic development of the students.

The Science and Innovation Club within Mantrana Society exemplifies a commitment to scientific advancement and environmental consciousness. Initiatives like the Vermicompost project and groundwater recharge pit, in collaboration with UCOST and the State Agriculture Department, showcase the club's dedication to sustainable practices. The club also engages in crafting low-cost microscopes, scientific excursions, and small-scale experiments, epitomizing synergy, innovation, and unyielding curiosity.

  • Mantrana Society is a place for students to develop their thinking, speaking, and reasoning skills. While debate is at the core of what we do, we also explore other areas like A significant initiative is the launch of the Eco Club, dedicated to environmental awareness language, science, culture, technology, logistics, and editorial work. Our goal is to create a space where students can express their ideas, learn from different perspectives, and grow intellectually.
